Yongjie Hu

Yongjie Hu

Yongjie Hu is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He received his Ph.D. degree from Harvard University, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He joined the faculty of UCLA in November 2014. His research has been recognized with Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellowship, ASME Bergles-Rohsenow Young Investigator Award in Heat Transfer, NSF CAREER Award, AFOSR Young Investigator Award, ACS PRF Doctoral New Investigator Award, UCLA Faculty Career Development Award, and he was also selected for the National Academy Engineering's U.S. Frointiers of Engineering and the National Academy Science's Frointiers of Science.
